Mr. Stutzman has spent his entire nearly twenty-year career as an attorney with CWP. He has been a member of the firm since 2013. He has long been recognized for his appellate advocacy skills and was named as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star in appellate litigation for nine consecutive years. Mr. Stutzman’s practice focuses on first-party property insurance disputes, including all-risks and builder’s risk coverage. He regularly assumes the lead role in drafting complex briefs and motions before trial and appellate courts. These efforts have saved CWP’s clients hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition to insurance litigation, Mr. Stutzman represents municipalities throughout the State of Mississippi in municipal annexation litigation. This practice area has afforded Mr. Stutzman valuable trial and appellate experience.

Community Involvement
Jacob is an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, where he has served on the vestry and as a Sunday School teacher. Given his life-long interest in history and genealogy, Jacob has also served on multiple boards that strive to preserve historically significant areas and properties. He is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Heritage Trust and is a past officer of the Woodland Hills Conservation Association.
